My New Found LOVE

I am certainly thrilled about this very first blog I’m writing. Over the last couple of weeks, I have thought to myself on what new activities I can engage in for the remaining half of the year and may be years to come.

I have a great passion for reading although I’m a selective reader, writing – not as much, save for a few pieces I write for my own consumption. May be it shall be my new found love, may be my strengths lie in some other areas.

I believe in the notion that, we don’t need to be experts to indulge in a particular field; because only then do we create our own limitations. It’s pretty hard to pursue something you are not so sure about. The ever present component of fear in us doesn’t make it easy either. We all have had our incredulous moments in life which I believe are birthed by fear, we have two choices; to let that fear have the best of us or to overcome our fears and face what’s at stake. When you loosen up every bit of fear in you, you experience the unimaginable.

If you feel a little like you’re just floating along the river of life, it might be a good idea to grab a paddle and start exploring uncharted waters. Take a step out of your comfort zone and experience new things. Branch out and see what’s out there. Eventually you’ll encounter something that gets you excited. I believe I shall find this- my new journey as exciting as I presume it to be. It shall be as random as it gets, with no concrete interest in particularly anything.

So, for my first blog, I was wondering whether to write about myself, my beliefs as a person, my life philosophies and what drives them….anything about me. But here I am thinking whether I should let it all out or share a chip of it in my subsequent blogs if necessary. I shall go with the latter.

For now, let me pat my back just a little bit upon my first piece. Not so sure of the look I shall have on my face when I read this same post 10 years from now. I believe that it shall get better and easier as years pass by. Regularity breeds expertise.

To you that has been thinking and wondering about what to do next, it could be a job, business, blog site, ….whatever it is; may you find your balancing act and carry on from there.

Once you accept that you and your passion project are a beautiful work in progress, you will be able to fully enjoy working on your passion project each day and eliminate the poisonous feeling of “not enough”.
